What is an alley cat!?

An alley cat race is an informal checkpoint style bike race. There is no set route, but you must hit all checkpoints in order to complete the race.

For Danger Cat, the route will consist of a mix of gravel, road and mtb trails. There will be advantages and disadvantages to all kinds of bikes so choose wisely! Because you are choosing your own route, this is a great event for all levels of cyclists whether you are racing hard or just enjoying the ride with your friends. Before the race begins you will be given a list of checkpoints and then it will be up to you to decide what order you will hit them in. At each checkpoint you will be required to complete some form of task or activity before moving on.

This is supposed to be a fun event so get dressed up in your best halloween costume, get on the worst bike you own and get ready for approximately 20km of fun. There will be door prizes along with prizes for best dressed, most inappropriate bike, and of course the fastest person to complete the circuit.

Meet at Laneway at 4PM and be prepared to ride at 4:30PM! After party to be announced!
